Muwanguzi Benard is an enthusiastic ICT teacher who teaches novice to advanced ICT courses for O and A-Level students in Secondary Schools. He has taught in a number of Secondary Schools in Uganda.
He believes that written, analytical and hands-on skills are not only a fundamental part of academic excellence in ICT but are also the building blocks of critical thinking in high school and beyond.
Muwanguzi is an innovative teacher. He is the founder of the following institutions: Benny Web Tech LTD, ICT Connect, and Benny School of Science & Technology (BScT) & Crypto Wealth Academy. In three consecutive years, he has used these platforms to bring together virtually all the ICT teachers in the country with their respective students to remotely solve ICT problems.
Muwanguzi holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Applications (Elective: Computer Science & IT) from Jain – Deemed to be University- India, a Bachelor of Arts in Education Degree(ICT Major) and several certificates in IT and education from Brigham Young University – Idaho, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Alison University, Uganda Institute of Information & Communication Technology, and Kampala University.
In addition to managing the ICT curriculum for secondary schools, he volunteers with Kisswa Minds Organisation where he works one-on-one with different beneficiaries and handles other technical operations.
